Sarah Al Rubaie is an associate lawyer at Smitiuch Injury Law. After articling with the firm, she was Called to the Bar on June 26, 2025. She works directly for the firm’s principal, Michael Smitiuch, on personal injury matters.

While in law school at Queen’s University, Sarah spent two semesters working as a litigation student caseworker at Queen’s Legal Aid, where she worked on Landlord and Tenant Board, Provincial Offence Acts, and criminal matters. She has appeared on criminal matters at the Ontario Court of Justice.

Before law school, Sarah worked as a legal assistant at a boutique real estate law firm in Toronto, Ontario. She was also the Vice President of Marketing for the Schulich Business Law Association and York Business Technology Association, where she organized case competitions judged by professionals in their respective fields.

Sarah loves architecture, design, travel, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
