Brandon Murphy is an associate lawyer at Smitiuch Injury Law. After articling with the firm, he was Called to the Bar (Administratively) on April 29, 2021. He works directly for the firm's principal, Michael Smitiuch, on personal injury matters.
He earned his law degree (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall Law School. Prior to studying law, Brandon obtained a Bachelor of Science in the Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour program from McMaster University.
During law school, Brandon volunteered with Law in Action Within Schools (LAWS) and Pro Bono Students Canada at Osgoode Hall with the Family Law Project. During the summer, he worked as a research assistant in the area of copyright law. He also worked at the Community & Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) in the family law division, dealing with matters including custody, access, support, and divorce.
Brandon enjoys hiking in Provincial and National Parks, watching the Toronto Maple Leafs, and playing soccer during his time off.
Brandon will be serving clients in Toronto, Brantford, Simcoe and throughout the GTA. As with all of our lawyers and staff members, he is committed to providing excellent customer service and advocating for justice.
