Emilia Loewen is an associate lawyer (Accident Benefits) at Smitiuch Injury Law. After articling with the firm, she was Called to the Bar on June 22, 2026. She works directly for the firm’s principal, Michael Smitiuch, on Accident Benefits work related to personal injury matters.

While in law school at Dalhousie University, Emilia worked as a legal summer student at a personal injury law firm in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She was the President of the Schulich Mental Health and Wellness Society and held executive roles on the Schulich Law and Tech Society.

Prior to law school, she worked for a leading financial planning software company as a Talent Coordinator.
